AboutSummit Ministry Apprenticeship
Are you called to ministry? We want to help you!
Whether you’re a man called to pastor or a woman called to church ministry, understanding the importance of training is your first step toward a life of healthy and effective ministry. As North American culture becomes increasingly antagonistic toward the gospel, training is becoming even more important. That’s why the Summit is committed to training the next generation of pastors and church leaders through its ministry apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship is an intensive, two-year training experience that offers significant hands-on ministry experience, weekly training, and mentorship by seasoned church leaders.
This is more than an internship. You’ll operate as a member of the Summit staff, receive training from national experts, and be given significant responsibility. At the end of the program you’ll possess the experience, character, and skills necessary to successfully step into full-time vocational ministry, whether as a pastor or ministry director.
If you’re wondering how the apprenticeship will train you specifically as a man or a woman, check out our FAQs to see how we custom fit the program to help you grow.
We work hard to create a training environment that will complement theological education and help you climb to new heights in your character, leadership, and ministry skills—all while grounding your identity in the work of Jesus and not your performance.
So if you’re called to vocational ministry and want to be intentionally challenged in a gospel-saturated setting, please complete an interest form. Someone from the apprenticeship team will connect with you to hear more of your story and help discern if this is the right next step for you.
